I just tried out the Delta Force: Xtreme 2 demo. What the hell? Now, I'm not a Delta Force fan, but I played a little bit of multiplayer in the demo of Delta Force: Xtreme 1 and thought it was kinda fun.
Of course, the game was technologically sub par for the time, but the game was still fun. But the expansion pack, err, I mean sequel, just leaves me speechless. IT just feels like a mission pack that's ~4 years too late. There is no graphical upgrade, none!

Ooh, the gun is just a bit shinier, bid deal. What was the point for releasing this game?
"Hey, let's release a sequel to a game that was released ~4 years ago, but to save money, let's use the same game engine, and not enhance the game in any way."
The game's okay, but knowing that it's essentially the same game that I played ~4 years ago, I just couldn't get into it. To me, it's like if id Software released Quake 5, without upgraded graphics, no new game play modes, or weapons, and charged us $30 for it.
Anyone here a fan of the Delta Force series? What do you fans think of this?
