The Delta Force 3 pack, DF/DF2/DFLW, is being cleared out at CC for $4.99. That's only $1.68 or so a game. It's a little box.

Delta force online was the sweetest thing to hit the gaming industry. I played them religiously, even more so than CS. Long distance sniping was the best. Anyone remember FHSF_Postman, =*3rd*= Postman, or Postman in general?

Yeah, it was the only thing i could play well on dialup . Doin't remember that person though. I was Dragon 365

OMFG Delta Force, I LOVED that game. Definately one of my favorite games of all time. I enjoyed that game more than I enjoy the big names like UT, etc. I went by "The Patriot" and was in the squad Fatal Attraction, maybe you've heard of them? I believe the site I hung out at was dfworld.com

Dude, DF was the best game ever. I played it so much that the doctor had to make me stop. Everything was good while I played but the second I stopped, the world didn't seem right somehow. It was messing with my balance. It started to effect my driving. My doctor had to tell me to stop. Sure enough, a year later I got over it.

That's a great deal. I only played DF2 a few times, but loved it.

Can you still play any of them online? Are there any servers?

I don't think DF1 works on XP anymore, unless maybe you can figure a way to install/run it in Win98 compat mode.

i use to play with postman from time to time in DF2. wasn't he the guy who ran the huge sniper stat server but then switched over to another war game before LW?

We used to have all night LAN parties at work playing Delta Force. This game was a classic, and nothing's really caught me since. Of course, I'm a telecommuter working at home now, instead of sitting in a room full of "high end" networked 200 mhz pentium pro workstations with matrox millennium 16mb graphics cards...

I remember this one mission in DF2 where you had to catch up to and jump onto a moving train and then pick off people as it moved through the towns. Once in a while it would be fun to play an entire mission using only grenade launcher.

The latest Black Hawk Down has nice graphics but the game play just isn't the same.

I loved DF1 .. hated 2, never played 3.

I played the hell out of DF1 ... seriously .. from sun up to sun down all summer long. First game I ever played online and I got addicted to it. I was pretty good too ... I was on *I*, o2, -=rp=- and a couple others ... hit me with a pm if you wanna talk about the good old days
