Delta Fan...Up or down?

I bought a Delta 7KRPM and I put it onto my thermoengine with the solid core 🙂() I fired it up and .....boy is this loud or what? I am freaked!!!...oh well I said, if it has a decent performance it's worth it (or not?). But the damn temp only dropped 3C from my stock YS-TECH fan (And how you explain the fact that I got the solid core and a YS-TECH fan instead of the TT one when I bought the hsf?)

I installed the fan so that it is sucking air from my theromengine( the label is up - I can feel the air in my hand). Should I reverse it so that it blows air to the thermoengine and CPU? I ask because the stockl YS-TEC fan was blowing to the thermoengine? Does anyone know which way performs the best. (Mike I need your advise- you seem to know a lot about thermoengines 😉.

Unless it's got a Shroud like an Alpha heatsink I suggest you mount it Blowing cold air towards the heatsink.
