Delta fan and the ECS K7S5A?

Does anybody have one of these boards and using a 6000+ RPM fan on the CPU fan Header or know if the header can take the power draw without burning out?

Have one running for weeks now with no problems, ECS K7S5a & Delta

Just to be on the safe side, I'd rather use a 3pin to 4pin(molex) adapter. The Delta draws a lot of juice and considering the K75SA itself is picky on power
supplies, it may affect stability.

I appreciate both sides.

This is for a friend that wouldn't even notice if that LOUD fan went silent. I want it to alarm from Motherboard Monitor if it does. I'll try it on the MB header unless somebody tells me "that damn fan f'ed up my header".
