DeLorme GPS and Microsoft Streets and Trips. Do they work together?

I just purchased a M6805 laptop and I have some gift cards to use. I loved being able to install Microsoft Streets and Trips so I can take it with me and never not have a good detailed map. Now what would be sweet is if the Delorme Earthmate device could work with the Streets and Trips software. The gift cards are for Best Buy so I can only pick up what they carry. Thanks.

I can't comment specifically, but according to Microsoft's site (MS Streets), "GPS functionality requires a GPS device that supports NMEA 2.0 or later, configured to use COM port 20 or less". Delorme's Earthmate page (Earthmate) says "The new NMEA-compliant Earthmate GPS includes...".

So my bet is they'll be fine together.
