Damn, WTF is the point of the 20" model anyways?? They really need to start making more smaller laptops, laptops seem to be going in the reverse direction back to heavy and bulky agian..

It is...but lots of people (including me) got in yesterday with coupons that brought it down to about $1200 shipped for a nicely configured model.

Actually I have been waiting for the 20". and I'm still wating on a good 12".
The 20" is not a laptop at all. Its only for desktop use. Its just easier portable. Basicly a fold and go computer. For offices where you don't have you own desk this is really nice. Didn't llok at the specs yet but ti might be ok for lan parties if the video card is upgradable..

The 12" they have is jsut the right size for me but I think 4lb is little heavy. I want 2-2.5 pounds for a 12".

I like the 20" and I may even pick it up in a few more months. I have been wanting a notebook to replace my desktop and this may be perfect. I really only need to have a notebook when take vacation trips so the bulk of the time it would remain on my desk, which again makes it ideal for me: a desktop replacement that can be portable the few times I need it to be.

Comes with an X1800, should give you decent graphics for the time being out of the box.

I like the fact that the 12" has a dedicated graphics option. I wish that had been around last year when I got my 700m.

I'm hoping that a nice warm summer slows down sales enough to where I can stack a bunch of coupons and buy the M1210 for $800.
