I have a Dell XPS 13 9350 with QHD touchscreen however the screen is not anti-glare which is rather annoying.

Does anybody know if Dell is working on Dell XPS with touchscreen AND anti-glare or is that technically not possible? Strange they don't offer that option.

PS. in the meantime an anti glare screen protector i could use that works with the 9350 and its touchscreen which i really love.

Anti-glare touchscreens are as rare as chicken teeth. They're fingerprint magnets, difficult to clean, and don't (usually) allow for high-quality glass panels for the touch panel (or at least require a plastic coating to remove glare). They do exist, but sadly, they're very, very rare. I think they're slightly more common in business laptops, but rarely in consumer/enthusiast lines. The Precision "parallel" to the XPS has an anti-glare screen option, but it's a non-touch 1080p panel.

Anti-glare screen protectors usually add too much distortion, making white pixels "sparkle" and text look fuzzy. From a single google search (ahem!) I found this thread whre this protector (I think, double check that it's the right version before you buy) is recommended because it balances that and glare reduction best.

You say they exist.. can you mention them and any of them QHD touch + anti glare?

So no chance Dell will bring this in a future release? With demand for this you'd think the technology would exist for this to have both touch and anti glare working fine.

Can't think of any for the moment, and honestly I can't be bothered reading through a whole bunch of laptop spec sheets for this. Google is your friend. Although I'd say the higher the resolution, the lower the chance of you finding this - simply due to higher pixel density requiring higher quality anti-glare coatings.

As for the chance of Dell releasing this in the future, I'd say the chance is low, but I'm not a product designer for Dell, so I have no idea. If history is anything to go by, chances are low.

anti-glare is essentially a matte screen which is screened with plastic. Not a target for capacitive touch.
