Sorry if this has been posted before, but its news to me. This laptop doesn't appear on Dell US's site yet, but you can see the Japanese page here:
Dell XPS M1210

If you can't read Japanese, the basic specs are:
CoreDuo T2300/T2500
Dual-channel DDR2 ram (512MB-4GB)
GeforceGO 7400 256MB DDR TC (also available with Intel GMS950 only)
12.1" WXGA w/optional integrated webcam
DVD-DL burner
Azalia HD audio
Expresscard54, 5-in-1 flash reader
4xUSB2, 1x1394a, VGA/Svideo out
1.98kg (4.4lb)

Potential weak points: VGA-out only (no DVI), 10/100 LAN (no GigE)

Still, I think this is the first 12.1" to have both CoreDuo and non-integrated graphics. It looks like it will start shipping in Japan around the end of May.

I've seen posts about this over at notebookforums.com

Those are some awesome specs for a notebook of that size, though, maybe a bit on the heavy side for a 12" (I'm not familiar with the standard weight for 12" notebooks).

The battery life isn't the best, but it's what you'd expect. You're either going to be stuck with that battery that juts out of the laptop and adds weight, or a 6-cell battery which won't last long at all. It does seem nice if you want decent graphics in a smallish machine and don't need battery life.

I don't know why any would need better then intergrated graphics in a 12" laptop.
99% of all work would be web browsing or doc. I would take no video card with a lighter design over ths this. Its nice enough but if someone wants 12", I'm guess they want an utral portal. At 4lb this is a little heavy.

The thing is though, you can't really call a notebook XPS without having a dedicated graphics card.

The ATI mid and low end cards completely destroy the NVIDIA counterparts... it's maybe a X1300 at best

The notebookreview article seems to say otherwise. Either way, looks like a fun little machine, I wouldn't mind one for gaming on the go. This is as small as it's gonna get if you want to be able to play games halfway decently.

The entire XPS 140 line had integrated graphics

Which is why they got rid of it. The name XPS implies something more extreme. Having integrated graphics does not fit this profile, so Dell took it off the XPS line up and put in notebooks with dedicated graphics card.
