Hi, I'm looking to buy a decent high performance gmaing laptop. Dell has a fall clearance sale on laptops, and one of them is a Dell 15z. The link is at

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellst...vw=list&leadtime=10/29/2012&showleadtime=True

And if anyone is not able to browse the link, the configuration is as follows -

XPS 15z XPS 15z

VIDEO CARD NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 525M 2GB graphics with Optimus
MEMORY 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 1333MHz
INTERNAL OPTICAL DRIVE 8X Slot Load CD/DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-R Drive)
WIRELESS + BLUETOOTH Intel© Centrino© Advanced-N 6230 & Bluetooth 3.0
BATTERY OPTIONS 8-Cell (64 WHr) Battery

OPERATING SYSTEM Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit, English

HARD DRIVE 750GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive

I would replace the Hard drive witha SSD if i buy the laptop. Do you guys think its a decent laptop ? Will I be able to play some decent games with this laptop ? I would really like to buy a laptop which is silent and does not make too much noise.
I really had some bad experience with my previous laptops and I hope this time the community would help me with a good decision.

Did any one have a bad experience with the Dell 15z ?

The GeForce GT 525M graphics card is underpowered for serious gaming. If you're looking for a gaming laptop, you should probably get something like an Alienware with a 680M instead.
