Dell XPS 15 issues resolved

A while back I was looking at a Dell XPS 15. It seemed very nice, but had a couple fatal flaws associated with battery life and wireless functionality. Does anybody know if these issues have been addressed in recent manufacturing runs?

After going to notebookreviews owners lounge and srounging around a bit in recent posts. it appears that the answer is no...Oh well. looking for a nice laptop for my wife. Asus N56VZ had reliability issues that turned her off.
