Dell won't support my problem with Cubase. PLEASE HELP

my dell used to support asio directx full duplex in Cubase before I formated and now it doesn't, but Dell won't help me because it involves a 3rd party program. I've tried various options including formating my hard drive 3 more times, uninstalling all the sound drivers in device manager and having Windows XP Pro detect my hardware, reinstalling various builds of my sound drivers, updating my directx version to 9.0a, and reinstalling Cubase SX and Cubase VST32 demos. They currently work seamlessly on my non-Dell desktop AND have worked on my 600m before I formated the first time around. I even tried to call Sigmatel C-Major Audio(manufacturer of the soundcard) and they said that I should call Dell since they're ordered not to service Dell customers.

MME ASIO drivers work but the directx ones don't. Anyone know where else I might be able to get help for this or how I can persuade Dell to help me out? Thanks.
