I got in on the deal for the two Samsung monitors (955DF and 900NF) about 4 weeks ago when Dell had their 20% off and free shipping deal that they "removed" three days before it was over. Anyway, I placed two orders, one for a single monitor and the other for 4 monitors. I recieved the single order just fine and I recieved one (the 900NF) of the 4 monitors.
I've called Dell twice now, once about two weeks ago to figure out what the hell is going on with my monitors. The first time I called, the CS Rep (alledgedly) called "Eagle Express" (who is shipping the order, god knows why they chose "Eagle Express"
and said that it would ship "tomorrow" -- "tomorrow" being about 2 weeks ago. I still haven't gotten them.
So I called again today, and spoke with Irene. She informed me that their website was down and that when it went back up she would call me and tell me the status of my order. She said she called Eagle Express and they "couldn't locate the package" ... which means, to me, either that it got shipped and that this crappy Eagle Express company lost my package, or that somehow it got lost between Dell and Eagle Express.
My question is this...what should I do about this? Obviously I'm going to ask for some kind of credit towards the dell store, but does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to a) get compensation for this or b) get my freaking package?
