Hi guys

I have started a small business, and Dell has offered to knock some off the price for my needed laptops. The Dell Vostro Laptop line looks like a good choice.

I have a configuration I like, but I am torn between whether or not to choose a TrueLife monitor. It is expensive - about $400 extra, but I have to look at that monitor every day.

Does someone have experience with this monitor?

WXGA+ doesn't cut it IMO for a 17" laptop. Get the WUXGA if possible although $400 is very high

Well, appearently the $400 price tag was an error. Really, the tag is $120.

And I should mention, this is from Dell in Denmark, so the prices are higher than Americans are used to. The $s are converted from DKK.

$120 is a good price, even though it was converted from DKK. From the US Dell Business site the upgrade is $150

Whew! My jaw dropped when I read 400 bones!

Anyway, IMHO, yes it's worth the difference...

When I got my TruBrite screen - the Toshiba version of what you're talking about - I was afraid I made a mistake - so many ppl were talking smack about glossy screens - but I love it, and so does everybody else that's seen it.

I'll never go back to a regular panel!!!
