Ill be using it for music production, web browsing, 4g internet. Light gaming. Maybe photoshop. The monthly payment of it works well for me.Thoughts on it?

Which Venue model and size?

I'm guessing a Venue Pro with Windows since you mention PhotoShop.

The Atom processor and 2 GB RAM isn't ideal for PS, but if you are OK with it working like you have a desktop from 5+ years ago then it should be good enough.

For games, the Atom CPU / graphics and 2 GB RAM means you won't be playing anything except some indie games. It's nothing like a Surface Pro.

Ive heard people are having overheating issues with the MS surface pro 3. Know anything about that?

I wishthere was a way to bumpup the ram to 4gb with the venue

I like how its touch screen though. Was thinking about getting a bamboo tablet for. Creative software, but if i can use the screen with a stylus, thats a huge plus

Any other options with a laptop/tablet hybrid with at least 4gb of ram and a decent cpu for creative ventures thats no a ms surface pro but like it(surface is out of my price range)

Might just go good ole dell with their easy monthly payments, but 2gbs? Geez. My old laptop i got in 2010 had 8 gb but a intel duo which held me back musically

venue 11 pro sometimes go on sale/clearance, might have to wait/hunt a bit

Z3770 / 64GB HD / 2GB RAM - as low as $314

i3 4020Y / 128GB HD / 4GB RAM - as low as $419

i5 4300Y / 256GB HD / 8GB RAM - as low as $509

I think the mobile keyboard is an additional cost, but provides a hinge like interface(acts likea laptop instead of needing a prop like the surface) and an extended battery. Haven't seen it in person

It's a tablet. You can't expect the kind of customizability you can often find in a laptop.

Here's the Dell XPS 11 hybrid for $700

If you want help finding something within your price range, it would be helpful to actually tell us what your price range is.
