This tablet was working fine for about a week, but now it won't even turn on. I don't understand why because it was babied/never dropped. I'm sending it back to amazon, but my personal info is on this thing and I can't get it off. I'm I screwed? :\

Hold the power button in for about 10 - 15 seconds, then let it go and hold it again for a few seconds. The T100 I have seems to not wake up from its deep sleep at times, so I have to hold the power button down so it completely turns off, then turn it back on. If that fixes it, then I wonder if it's a Bay Trail or Windows 8.1 issue.

It worked! Thanks a lot, bro.

Same thing just happened to mine. After holding it for 15 seconds, how long did you let it go for? Mine isn't turning back on no matter what.

make sure you are pressing the power button properly and at least 30s. My T100 power button is somewhat picky

I just got one of these two days ago and after the first day it started doing this every time it's put asleep.

Return it or is there some fix?

Try making sure all the Windows updates are installed. I just rebuilt my T100TA and did all the Windows 8.1 updates and I haven't had that problem the past couple of days.
