I just got a Dell Venue 8 Pro and noticed that it doesn't charge if I'm using an adapter with 5 V and 2.1A.
Dell supplies 5 V, 2.0A which charges the device fine. Aftermarket chargers that max out at 5V and 2A work fine. It also works fine with lower amperage, but not higher. I am curious if Dell has some kind of protection/sensor and if it can be disabled.
