Dell Ultrasharp monitor doesn't power up

My monitor will not power up. Not even the LED telling me that its getting power will work. Tried sever power cables. The caps are fine. Is there any way to repair it?

The power button issue with certain models of the Dell Ultrasharp's is well know and even discussed (as I recall) in some of the reviews (eg, tftcentral) as the problem was encountered during testing of one of the models. Apparently it is repairable via a replacement switch. I would just google my way thru it:

If it is still under warranty, that is grounds to return it.
