Dell UltraSharp 2001fp LCD

Has anyone gotten one of these in the past couple weeks that can confirm whether or not they are still using 16ms panels in them?

I know that the specs on the Dell website used to say 16ms, but they have taken it down which leads myself and others to believe that they are using a cheaper panel in them. At the current price, I am very tempted to pick one up, but only if they are still using 16ms panels.

Can anyone who has purchased one in the last month or so confirm it one way or another?

I would imagine they are. I don't see how they could sell the same model LCD with a different, slower panel.

Just bought one. Definatly 16 ms runs UT2004 smooth as butter.

what res do you play it on? how is the scaling? i'm sort of concerned about that - there's no way my p4 2.26, gig of pc800, 9800pro can cut it at that kind of res...

Maybe they took it down because response time ratings don't tell the whole story about LCD's... my 172N (25ms response time) plays UT2004 "smooth as butter" too, but my other samsungs, 192N and 152N play games like ass, ghosting out the wazoo but they both use 25ms panels too...

do you have the system to run at 16x12 all the time.

if not you dont want it.

I made the mistake of geting a 2000fp. It stoped me from playing games for over a year.

why didn't you scale it down? are the specs to your rig?
