Dell UltraSharp 1704FPT versus 1905FP...

I know both have the same resolution and that the 17" is a 6-bit panel, whereas the 19" is an 8-bit.

I game a bit, but mostly surf. No movies.

I've heard the 1905FP ghosts pretty bad.

Opinions?

i have a 1704FPT on one of my boxes, and it is very nice. dont waste money on bigger pixels.

i got a 1905FP, no dead pixels... awesome screen

however, it does ghost a lot..

when i play starcarft, warcraft, its fine, but if i'm playing 3D or emulation, it ghosts a lot.
