8.25 tax kills it for me but with as large as dell is, dodging sales tax is difficult.

You might consider a used 3007WFP. I see them on ebay for $700ish pretty frequently. Not quite as nice of a monitor as the U3011 though.

What's the difference? I bought the 3007wfp when it came out. It seems to have a nice enough picture although it lacks a second dvi and has no hdmi inputs.

Cool. U3011 does look better but I don't think it's good enough for me to replace my 3007wfp just yet.
