i seen this problem before from different brand monitors like auria. what causes no wake to sleep is the firmware or at many times the cable you are using. try finding a cable with tough wiring.

I found a useful tool for testing.

Also, I pickup up a 2007fp and hooked it up via DP to DVI. It has been working like clockwork. Since unhooking the USB pass through on the 3011, sleep fails about 1 in 8 times. It takes a power cycle while in sleep mode to correct it. I wish we could get Dell to put out a firmware update to fix this.
