MUST BE BOUGHT AT DELL SMALL BUSINESS

I don't understand why they give businesses a discount but not consumers...

I have a personal account with Dell but when I tried to set up a "business account" it said I had not been in business long enough...LMAO!

I have 2 at home and 2 at the office that I use for CAD / 3dSMAX / REVIT, nice displays, but if you don't need the extra resolution the u2410 is a better value. It offers nearly the same amount of real estate & technology for less.

I did see the u3011 on sale for around $1000 last week... hmmmmm

It really depends what you do and how you use your monitor(s).

30" was too big for me - had to move my head around too much. I sold it.

U2711 is a wide gamut monitor which is very beneficial when you do photo/video work. Also, it pretty much matches 30" in terms of resolution which again helps with photo/video work.

YMMV.
