I have been recently having issues with my dell u2410 monitor where I  had 8-10 purple spots in the monitor when viewing dark and black images.  Dell offered to replace the monitor. When I received the replacement  monitor it was a ST2420L, which is not a u2410. I do not want a ST2420L  and I have called multiple times and have been told the ST2420L is a  better monitor and that they do not have any more u2410 monitors, which  is weird because dell is still openly selling the monitors on their  website. I am not happy because I spent much more money to get the u2410  and chose it over a hp equivalent, but I do not know how to get through  to anyone who knows any difference between the monitors they are  shipping me.
