I got lucky and got this monitor for $201 at the end of August from another Amazon 3rd party reseller. They looked a little dodgy but the monitor showed up fine - it's very nice. At the time I didn't realize how good of a deal it really was (and whether or not I could trust the reseller) or I would have posted it here.

Is it warrantied by Dell from other mongers? Or could they be grey market items? I know Amazon protects the buyer when using Amazon Payments but what about well after the initial purchase?

With Dell, so-called sales are regular and the U2312HM was was $200 shipped in January. They sent me a new one as a replacement for a nearly three year old 2209WA. It [the new U2312HM] had one bad pixel so they replaced it with a refurbished one that was flawless. All the shipping was free and quick (two day?).
