Dell TrueMobile mini-PCI card won't work with HP/compaq NC4010.

After placing my Dell TrueMobile 1300 Wi-Fi card in the mini-PCI slot on my NC4010, the laptop refused to boot up.
Instead, it told me that "this wireless device is not supported."

Anyone got an idea?
