Dell Truemobile 1300 "G" card

Has anyone had any expirence with Dell's 1300 true mobile 802.11b/g card, I read someare that the "G" standard was inoperable, could someone please advise if possible. Thanks in advance
 
The IEEE approved the 802.11g standard this summer, and the WiFi alliance has been certifying the compatibility of 802.11g products. 802.11g is very much alive and I think it will be the leading WiFi standard for the time being.
