I see it.

That is truly weird.

If they do start selling it, I think it kind of defeats the purpose of owning a Mac. I like Apple's industrial design on their hardware a lot; it'd be dumb to have OS X running on a plain-jane black Dell box. Although, it would be nice because the prices would be excellent. Another thing to factor in is OS X's stability; I think part of the reason Windows is so unstable is because it has such a broad hardware base to support. With Apple hardware, the core components like the motherboard and processor are tightly controlled and are designed to work well with their operating system. I sure hope this doesn't flush Apple's reliability and design down the toilet :p

Um, what are you talking about? Why would Apple release a version of Mac OS X to run on regular x86 hardware? Without a bypass or workaround for the EDID (or so what everyone believes is the limiting factor in OS X not working on Apple branded Intel hardware) it's, well, not going to work.

Ever heard of OSx86? OS X has been hacked, and it was awhile ago :)

Obviously it's supposed to be in drop-downs for their printers and monitors, but it got mixed up.

I meant to the public. Yes I've heard of that.
