Dell to replace my laptop screen with dents, is there a way to upgrade it as well?

I have discovered dents in my Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop lcd screen that are being caused by the keyboard contacting the screen. As a result, Dell is going to replace the screen.

At the same time, I would really like to get a Dell Ultrasharp UXGA screen instead of just the UXGA screen for my laptop. What I would like to do is get the Ultrasharp screen and pay the difference between it and the plain UXGA screen. However, Dell is telling me they only replace like for like. Is there anyway I can get this upgrade done?

You are lucky they are replacing the screen

User "pay the dif" at time of repair upgrades would be hell for the techs/warranty department

Your best bet would be to ask Dell that question. If Dell has already told you that it won't upgrade the screen, I have a feeling you are stuck with the original kind.
