I recently purchased the Dell Studio 1558 and im curious to see whether i can play at least some of the new games on medium. Im a gamer, but i have a low budget.
Im not looking for Steam or CS type of requirements. I mean like Dragon age and MMO's.

here are the specs:
Intel Core i3-350M 2.26GHz (3M cache)
4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066MHz
15.6 inch High Definition (720p) LED Display with TrueLife and Camera
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 512MB
320GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Disk Drive

anything would be helpful. Thanks!

To be honest, a 4570 won't cut it in most games. It's about on par with a desktop 4550, which is somewhere in the vicinity of a 6600GT in terms of performance. You might be able to get away with medium settings on a low resolution. But any new games would really be pushing that card.

But, if by MMOs, you mean WOW. Then you should be okay, as the engine for that game is already pretty old and it never had high system requirements to begin with. With newer games, I think you're out of luck unless you can stomach low res or low settings.
