Dell stability!?!?!?!?!?

My friend just bought a Dell p4 1.6 and being the nut I am had to open it up and check it out (i like to price out each part in a Brand name PC to see how bad the rip ppl off)>

I got to the vid. card and it was a G-force 2mx 400, nothing special, but it made me do a double take, I've never seen a card with out a heat sink a fan sure seen a couple of them a heat sink no. Just wounder why they would be selling high-end pc's with video cards and no heat sink and expect not to be getting tech support phone call's??

And by the way it lasted longer than i thought it would< I ran 3D mark 2001 in loop went 22 mins before lock.

hmm, that geforce 2 mx doesn't heat up as much... but that p4 1.4 will

if dell isn't stable, there will be a world wide return of these things... they're okay, not bad but not superb

Sorry but you CANNOT match dell's prices. You're wrong. Include the prices of all the software you get and then add support.

Good point took me 20 mine to delete all that crap they give you. No wonder why they give it to you nobody use's it, ooops they (Dell) use's it as a selling tool.

And no I'm not saying its a bad pc for the price for ppl that just know how to push the power button.

They do have there place in the market.
