If the last day is today (Tuesday, July 23rd) then it's probably already expired.

Dell's offers usually expire the same day at 11:00 PM CST (9:00 PM PST).

Dell(Maxtor, IBM, WD) HD comes with 1 yr Dell warranty.

Anyone know of a company other than Western Didgital that makes an 8MB buffer 120GB drive? As for warranty, "Dell-branded products are fully supported by Dell Technical Support for one year, or, when used with a Dell system, for the life of your system warranty. "

Yes, WD is the only one that has the 8Mb cache (JB vs. BB). I jumped on the IBM 80Gb Deskstar 120GXP ATA100 7200rpm. Total was $81.99 with FREE overnight shipping!

AFAIK, it is the only drive with 8MB. As to the deal, it's been on and off now several times - I know, as I have three of them puchased from Dell at separate times and darn, yes, I'm considering another!

purchased a couple of those drives from dell a month ago or so and both of mine had full 3 year warrenties from WD, just FYI you may or may not get ones covered under warrenty by WD

Is there an 80gb WD Special Edition dell oem drive available? Similar to the 120gb one linked above? I could only find the retail WD one for 120$ something, I would figure the dell branded one would be cheaper as it is with the 120gb WD which is over 200$ for the wd branded one but only 160$ something for the dell branded one. link please if ya have one. thanks

No, that's looking for too much - the 80's are standard (2MB?) buffer drives.
