Just wanted to know how many of you knew about this?

This picture is not photoshopped. It was a glitch on Dell's website that kept lowering the price of the item if you switched between tabs (configure list tab and configure drop down tab).

I know a couple of people who got their XPS systems for less than 200 bucks.

Edit: To clarify, the XPSs were not notebooks, they were desktops.

I know a couple of people in real life that received their XPSs.

This glitch worked for about 6 months. It ended when people started to buy computers for negative amounts.

I"m sure that set off a red flag for DELL.

i'm surprised Dell didn't catch it after they ordered, and before it shipped.

Alright, I'm calling it. I may get pwned, I may not, but here goes:

SHENS!

Post a scan of a packing list and receipt or this entire post, including your "friends" is bull$hit.

lol, the people who knew about this were a VERY small number and did not want it to get out. When it finally got out to more people, look what happened. Some a$$hats decide to buy computers for negative amounts!

You needed a premier account to do this.

I agree Shens...

I sincerely doubt that a company like that would not notice selling laptops for less than $200.00 or anything. One or two may have slipped through *MAYBE* but there's no way this went on for six months...

I'll see what I can do. For further proof though, there's 1 or 2 threads on fatwallet about it. People kept it VERY private though.
