$599 - $50 (IR) - $200 (MIR) = $349

Just talked to the CSR and they said that you cannot have both rebates, so this ends up being very YMMV. I am going to call back a few times and try and talk them into double memory (instead of the extra $50 MIR).

I will update if I can talk them into anything.

You only get the $100.00 rebate if you go in thru the outrageous deals link. How can you be sure that you will get the $100.00 instead of the much smaller rebate shown if you configure the same unit , but without the outrageous deals link.

Yeah just ordered this with a rep on the phone yesterday - he specified these "package" deals are what you see is what you get (in the customization options). THere is no $50 second rebate on this particular package even though they advertise it on the same friggin page. I'm tempted to send it in anyway...

It's because the $100 Rebate shows up as a line item in your order.

As with previous deals it will depend on what the order confirmation shows. If there are 2 rebates, it should be good - otherwise you may want to consider canceling (though even at $399 this is not bad)

Actually the price for the base configuration just dropped to $374 and it now has a free CDRW!!!! as well as 80GB and floppy (usually $20 extra) - This is hot even without the extra $50 with the extra $$ it would be smoking ($324+tax)

Thanks for that ! Calling for my price-adjustment right now. Ordered at $399 (after rebate) with no extra CD drive yesterday.

EDIT>> Success! $25 credit + free external CDROM drive added (CDRW already came with it). Thanks again YO!

I'm on the verge of picking up 6 of these for my agency. Great price, even if you add the 17" cheap monitor.

I saw something about a max of 5 on the fine print for the special stuff that comes with it.. may want to look into it.

These are very suitable for office work - just add another 128MB RAM (not from Dell - less$$ elsewhere) and these puppies run very well. Considering Orifice 2003 basic (value about $100) is included you will not find a better deal, unless of course sometime in the future they make a price mistake and let it pass.

5 rebates per offer is usually the limit - so you may want one of your co-workers/partners order at least one of the 6

I ordered one of these for my father in law for x-mas, and now I would like to get some extra ram for it. Anyone know what ram I would need to get?

DDR PC2700 non-ECC - check the RAM thread for pricing

I'm curious if I buy one of the SB coupons off ebay for 2 dollars if I can use it and save another 100 muchs and still get the 200 in rebates and the 50 off instantly? Anyone help here is appreciated. Also is it ture I can get the whole 250 and the free PDA, cause sometimes their deals exclude each other. Thanks again

The $200 rebate is too good for me to pass up. I can get 6 of these machines w/ 17" monitors for $2,814/shipped. It's a done deal.
