select the normal "subtract $XXX" items (ram, office, windows home, etc)
don't forget the free 80 GB HD option
all FPs are $100 off, i selected the 1703 because i think its the best one
don't forget the 9800 option for $130 for the gamers out there 🙂
 
How does this compaire to the 400SC deal that's on-going (it might be dead by now). It was a 2.8Ghz HT machine with a great case, Gigabit Ethernet, 400w power supply, 36GB SCSI drive for about $550 shipped. Clearly, the Radeon in this box is much better but is that worth an extra $500? Thanks!

9800 and a 17" LCD that costs $530 by itself (in this example)

the PS in this should be able to handle anything you can throw at it. dell PSes are underrated/overbuilt.

chipset is probably the i865
