Dell S2740L for gaming?

It's on sale for ~$250 at Best Buy, so before I get too excited is it worth it? Currently I have a Samsung 25 inch (P2570) that will get tossed, so I just wanted to see how much different it will be.

I don't need the uber high resolution, because my graphics card is going to choke One purchase at a time... that will likely be the next one.

this is a too-late reply but I just bought it. It's great deal. new one originally should be $350+ and reviews for this monitor has been good to great. Five star on Amazon.

Only problem I can see is the overdrive is slightly aggressive causing dark artefacts. So expect worse than other Dell monitors motion blur but conversely the input lag is exceptionally good. If you want 1080p at that size its a good option.
