I have a 2005FP that I want to RMA, the USB doesn't work anymore and I've always had a dead subpixel.

Now that dell doesn't make the 2005 anymore, do they send you a 2007FPW or a refurb 2005?

Did they ever fix the issue with the color banding and the 2007FPW?

If they dont have any 2005FPW they'll usually sub it for the next model up.. and it'll be a refurb.

Yup, but chances are that they'll still have some refurb 2005FPWs laying around.

They'll still have 2005FPWs sitting around.

Way back I bought a 9800 off ebay, the guy had yanked it from a new Dell at his college (apparantly he was replacing all the 9800s with lower end cards and selling them on ebay)...it had memory issues, so he transferred ownership of the Dell warranty to me so I could RMA it. They didn't have them anymore so I got a 9800XT instead, yay me?
