i just got done with dell regarding my 19" g400.. so they're sending one out on me... and when i return the bad one they'll credit me bacK...

my question is.. do i just exchange it with the courier? or do i take the new one and rearrange a pickup time?... the guy at dell was basically a bad CSR... no offense to anyone.. but he couldnt speak english well.. and didnt understand it either.. i basically had to do things 2-3times over n over again cuz he just wouldnt get it... he was unclear when i asked him if i'd beable to look over the new monitor first before i sent the old one back.. cuz if the new ones bad... i'm just gonna keep the old one... i spose i can live with just that minor problem...

well he said it'd be out here in 2days by courier.. so i just need to know.. do i pack up my monitor now and wait for this guy.. or can i do it later..

i dont like calling dell.. their menus are way to specific and none of them fit my situation.. so i just picked whatever.... the guy was really suprised when i got to him.. he was like "huh"... kept asking me for some system numbers... couldnt get it thru his head that i only had a monitor not a system... arg...

My dell monitor broke last year and I called them up. It was still under warranty so they just shipped me a new one. They told me to use the same box to return my broken one. I didn't even have to pay shipping. 🙂

Use the same box to put defective monitor in. You have a week or so to return it to Dell via the prepaid label.
