Dell refurbished monitors

I noticed that Dell is selling their factory refurbished 2007FWP's for $319 w/free shipping. Are the refurb monitors any good? Are they reliable? Is there any sort of warranty with them? Any risk when buying one?

I bought a refurb 2007FPW. It had one dead pixel, but their exchange terms are awesome, so I just told them there was a dead pixel on the first one and they sent me a replacement.

I'm using the second refurb monitor right now, and its awesome.

The monitor has the exact same warranty as the new monitor, and you can return the monitor within the first 21 days if you have any problem with it.

Did you have to pay for shipping when you sent it back?

Might take the plunge and buy one...I'm so weak!

Every time I've done an RMA with Dell, they have sent me the new product with a return UPS label.

i know several people who have bought refurb dell montiors and they have always arrived as if they were brand new.

Heh, not what my "financial tight wad" side wanted to hear...it sounds like too good of a deal!

yes they did pay for return shipping, infact they sent UPS 2-3 additional shipping labels and a UPS guy would come by everyday asking for a package ...
