In my opinion, you can pretty much ignore the included software, unless you see something that catches your eye.

$250 is a pretty good price I think. I paid that much on my processor alone.(P4 2.6C @ 800mhzFSB)

I see that there are some areas for improvement (the dell's P4 has a 533mhzFSB, and Intel has processors that support 800mhzFSB.)
but for a complete system, you can't beat it.

Only thing I would want to know is if it has an AGP slot, and is it a full size. But if you don't game, doesn't matter.
