Dell Precision Workstation 420 MB vs comprable Dual CPU MB?

I have had little luck getting information to compare other work
stations/dual CPU MB's to Dell's Precision Workstation 420 with
dual display solutions . Any info on what I'd be getting in
relation to what's out there or better off with for performance
& price?
I am looking for the ability to shorten the rendering time to
calculate equations in stock chart formula's while doing work
as well as some graphic related applications (in the future).
Don't want to bite off more than I can chew or fall short of
processing power needed.
