Dear All,
I am trying to config a fairly high end M6800 for use in trade support.

I am kind of confused on hard drive selection.

Here are goals:
1) SSD boot drive
2) at least 500GB 2nd drive
3) less important, some kind of automatic good encryption on both (great if finger print, but any auto encryption would be good). very very easy for a non-IT person to use.

Here is what I picked:
256GB SATA SED Solid State Drive Full Mini Card [add $299.00]
500GB 2.5inch SATA (5.400 Rpm) Opal SED with FIPS Hard Drive [add $159.00]

Are these reasonable choices? I guess I am mostly confused about how it works to have harddrives that have different security features on the same laptop.

you should not buy the drives from dell, I always buy the drives myself and install them.

I usually run msata SSD as my boot drive and 2.5" 7mm 500gb or 1tb for some data.
