Dell Precision 650 system noise

I'm considering a used Precision 650 (2.4 Xeon, 1GB, 36GB 10K SCSI) from ebay. Could anyone out there comment on how loud this system may get under load? I know a 10K SCSI can be noisy, but I'm more concerned about the case and power supply fans. I don't really want a jet engine in the basement office

I have an XPS Gen3 that I am working on right now that uses the same chassis, and it's extremely loud under load. The 2x 92mm exhaust fans sound like hair dryers while running Stress Prime Orthos.
