If you are planning on junking the Ram and HD anyway this is $20 cheaper than last weeks deal

The HD and Ram options/upgrades seem unbelievably expensive from Dell in the configuration engine.

The X3430 http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42927 is a good little processor, but you may want to consider the $90 upgrade to the X3440 http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42928 if you want Hyperthreading (4 Cores/8 Threads). Both chips are based on the "Lynnfield" architecture
