Do you folks know of mobo models that have a compatible form factor, power supply wiring, ECC RAM, etc. as the original 600SC mobo.
I consider this post as more than a WTB because I'd like to have a broader discussion than "who's willing to sell me a mobo".
I have a 600SC with a dead mobo. I really like the case, fans, etc. so I'm trying to keep the system intact. I see used 600SC occasionally (actually rarely) on ebay, at, etc. but I really would like to buy just a mobo, even if it is not the original model.
I have searched the web for days but cannot find an identical or compatible replacement, and mobo specs don't tell me enough about form factor, etc. to know that the mobo will fit the case w/o alignment problems. I know Dell uses non-standard PS wiring scheme. I also read that even the fans are wired non-standard so simply replacing PS with a standard one may create domino effect.
