Nice find for a great/cheap computer/server.

Remember it has an AGP slot on it same motherboard at the 8300 Dimension

I had the same problem...is it the P4 option? Instead of it being on the P4 2.4 800Mhz, go to the yellow highlighted one, which is P4 at Celeron price.

Was set to checkout when it looks like they decreased the instant savings from $125 back to $100 only. 1PM PST

Is anyone else noticing it?

yeah...just checked my cart. the instant savings is only $100 now. total with tax is $431.92 w/o rebate.

In most cases if you call Dell and have a Rep look at the page with you, they'll give whatever the greatest discount shown is. It's been my experience that they're pretty responsable about their published mistakes.

I guess I got in just in time. I purchased a few hours ago and at the time it was still $125. Surely they will work with you if you call them. Good Luck!

Yup, good deal. Ordered one for my Pops yesterday. Needs a small fileserver for his business and this is perfect!!!
Ordered an extra 512mb pc3200 ECC stick from crucial for $100. Much easier then me building one from scratch for him (and cheaper to boot).

I still see it at $399 at check out, did you guy checked the "Free Upgrade to an Intel P4, 2.4GHz,800FSB at a Cel 2.4 price". Don't check the Highlighted one that one add $99 to the deal, dell is trying to trick us.

Anyone had the link to the site they have everything about this board? I am too lazy to search.

anyone have specs on this motherboard? does it have an AGP slot? I am trying to get a machine for my parents and my stepdad plays Tiger Woods 2004 and would need a decent grafics card. any info? Thanks a lot.

The reason it's only a $100 and not $125 instant rebate is because the extra $25 was only good until 2PM Central Time today.

Wierd time to end a deal. I noticed the issue and had to call in to get the deal. I think it was right about that time too.

is this deal dead? i know it's $100 instead of $125, but i can't seem to get it below $498 (before rebate).

why does the "free" processor upgrade add $99?

help!

Dont check the free processor upgrade, check the thrid option P4 2.4 price of a celeron.

got me one for $399 before rebate. also picked up a 1GiG DDR kit from Kingston for $160.

Not a bad night for me, bad night for the credit card though....
