Local insurance business has 3 of these printers. They are all hooked up to week old Dimension 3000's running windows xp pro sp2. Two machines are a wireless network and one is wired.
Each printer is shared on the network. I can print but only when the printer is first started up.
One insurance application using adobe gives me this error message: Spooler subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to close" and "Operation could not be completed" even if I just started up the printer.
I hooked up an older HP printer and that error was non existent. I've tried acrobat 6 and 7 too.
The printers have been removed and reinstalled too. I have also received the error "no printer installed" when in fact there is access to 3 printers.
Anyone have any ideas?
