Dell PDA/Smartphone?

I want a smartphone/pda phone. However, whatever out there in the market right now are pretty expensive. I like the Samsung SCH-i730. However, it is like $600 and only Verison has it. I wonder if anybody knows(rumor) if Dell will come up with a Axim smartphone.
