Dell p991 and/or P992 Bad Quality or No??

I have heard some bad things about these monitors but the specs seem to say otherwise..

I am curious to here from people with this monitor or people that know what is wrong/not wrong with them...

Do they have a good image but they just dont last long??

I just got my P992 yesterday. To me it looks awesome but I don't have much to compaire it to. My old monitor was 7 years old. I've heard some about problems with the P991 and screen quality. Jump on to Dell's fourms and take a look at what people are saying.

Yeah, well I was about to order the p992 from Dell.. I saw the 20% off and free shipping and thought that it was an attractive price for a 19" trinitron $340

Then I decided to check the dell monitor forum to see what people were saying about it... I was a little scared of what I saw.. That's why I figured I would try this forum for some user opinions.. Then again that is the place to complain? I wish I knew what to think.. There are no reviews around either, or they are hard to find..

I noticed a few other people in this forum who are looking for info on these monitors, so anyone that can help us out please comment on the monitor...

P991 is good if you get a good one. But when you get into the 'DELL replace-bad-parts' circus you'll NEVER get a good one. They just send you another returned item.
I've had bad experence with those.
