Hi Everyone,
I've had my Dell P4 for way too long now, and I'm thinking about upgrading using the same processor. The processor is a 2.4ghz P4 (I believe it's 533mhz FSB). Anyway, I've been looking at motherboards, and a dilemma has arisen.
Do I go with the cheap, featureful, yet ill-reputable Asus P4S800D-E Deluxe? Or do I shell out the few extra bucks for a P4C800-E Deluxe? Or am I being foolish, and should I be waiting for another mobo on the horizon?
Now, normally, I'd just read some reviews and buy the best sounding one. However, Anandtech's review raved about the P4S800, but people in the forum's have an entirely different opinion of it. As far as my priorities, I'd say that stability and performance are on the top of the list. I'm not a very big overclocker, but I'm always telling myself that I want to try it. What should I do?!
