Dell Outlet computers...any bad experiences?

There have been a bunch flying through this last month. Just curious if any came in bad condition, or if you had to return broken computers, etc.

My Mom wants to buy a last minute computer for a fellow family member, so I'm thinking of getting one. Thanks in advance.

My bought one for a month, then the monitor display got messed up; kept seeing lines on it. I think it the was video card that was damaged. I called the support and they sent me a new one. They picked up the one old themselves so I didn't had to go and deliver it myself. It was all good though cause they replaced my Radeon 9800 with a 9800Pro.

Good to hear that the "1 yr warranty" actually works out OK. Thanks!

Does the 4700 have an x16 PCI express slot?

I order a lot of the precision 650s from the outlet store.. some of it are like new.. ie some dude over bought and return them.. some are used & dusty but they test them before selling.. replace/repair parts

Thanks for the comments. Anyone else? I'm probably going to get a 4700 today for around $550 + $130 extremely fast shipping to get it here before the weekend.

Speaking of - I'm assuming the shipping is fairly fast to get out of the door at Dell since these are individual already done computers right?

Think the X300se will be OK for a 9 year old that plays almost no violent games?

I bought a Latitude D600 notebook from Dell Outlet in late October; it was out their door within two days, and arrived in perfect condition. I've had no problems at all with the notebook.

I'm a bit confused why these take so long to get out of the door at Dell. Just ordered mine today before 10am. I chose Next Business Day shipping, and tacked on the $45 extra-fast fee (=$130 shipping total, including the discount).

According to the order, its not going to leave Dell until the 17th...one day too late. <sigh>

Anyway - thanks everyone for your comments.
